MotoLegs ("the app") is a motorcycle trip-planning app for iOS. This policy describes what information the app accesses and how it is used.
The app requests access to your device's location while in use. Your location is used solely to set the starting point of a route when you tap "Use My Location." It is not stored persistently, not shared with any third party, and not used for advertising or analytics.
The app stores the following information locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults). None of this data ever leaves your device:
MotoLegs uses Apple Maps services (MapKit) for routing, geocoding, and points-of-interest search. Queries you enter — such as addresses and place names — are sent to Apple's servers to fulfill these requests. Apple's own Privacy Policy governs that data.
The app includes a bundled offline database of gas station locations derived from OpenStreetMap data. This database is stored on your device and does not make any network requests. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
The app contains no third-party SDKs, crash reporters, advertising frameworks, or analytics libraries.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
